REPAC is short for “Repetition, Parallelism and Creativity: an Inquiry into the Construction of Meaning in Ancient Mesopotamian Literature and Erudition”.

The project is envisaged as a contribution to the intellectual history of Ancient Mesopotamia. Its goal is to study a key feature of the mentality and world-view of the learned scribes who produced the core works of Mesopotamian culture.

The project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
